I have not increased prices on my products (other than copper scales) since 2019. Unfortunately due to the unreliability of steel from my primary supplier (8-10 week lead times if I order at the wrong time) I am forced to switch to another, more reliable supplier. Unfortunately they are also 2 times the price. One of my goals has always been to offer knives at a price point that competes with higher end production blades, to give the average guy the opportunity to own something cool. I had previously just eaten the cost increases due to inflation and tried to make up for it in volume but I’m just one guy in a residential garage and can not eat the cost of this kind of material price increase since I already have a relatively low profit margin as it is.
I appreciate your understanding and if things change in the future I will try to lower prices again.
Thanks!
